JR Camacho & Carlos DeSantiago

Kitty’s 12 & Under Scotch Doubles event for June drew eighteen teams to compete on the freshly reclothed tables.

The team of Carlos DeSantiago & JR Camacho were the team to beat in this event as they went relatively untested to the hot-seat, which they won by the score of 7-3 over the team of Stephen Fluger & Andrew Rocha.

Maddy Alvarado & Don Stillings were cruising through the one loss side after an early loss and enjoying the fact that they were only racing to five while most other teams were going to seven.

Maddy & Don’s match with Stephen & Andrew would go to hill-hill (6-4), before it was won by Stephen & Andrew.

The final match was a true battle featuring four tie scores and four lead changes before Carlos & JR earned the 7-5 victory.

Carlos & JR split $660 in first place prize money, while Stephen & Andrew settled for $330. Maddy & Don earned $90 with no side pots and Daniel Jaworowski & Tom Lee took home $135 for fourth place with side pots.
